FXXK Digital.. One pack of Roughsmokes and a day with A-Bo-Moon..
One pack of Roughsmokes (That's a roll of 12 shot film) was all our team member had to hand alongside a 1974 waist level view finder camera and the trust of luck when heading out to Nagoya for this challenge.
The Challenge - Head out and spend a day at the annual 'A-Bo-Moon R32 day' event being held at the Sportsland Mikawa Circuit. A place somewhat outside of our normal hunting grounds and an 4 hour drive. Screw that some might say with one pack of 'smokes, but that's the beauty of learning film, it makes you feel the shot more and is a much more interesting learning curve when trying to frame a good shot.
The following twelve shots are what came out exactly from the camera with no adjustment or filters being added, no bad shots left, don't throw away those bad ones - they'll push you to do better in the long run!. We will be introducing a more specific flat-bed scanner to bring you better quality of print in the future, so for now please do trust us in the fact the colours the film pack opicked up were outstanding and the fact you can hold a picture direct to hand and feel the moment of when it was taken just gives you something you do not get with digital. In a digital age it seems as though everyone is pushing hard to stand and be something rather that letting grow natural. We wanted to honour that with this post.
So for those on the camera side of things and not driving it's not just 'Keep Drifting Fun' but also 'Keep Photography Fun'! We hope you enjoy this post and we'll be bringing you more 'One pack of Roughsmokes' posts again in the future!.
"Is that a camera? For a second I really did not know.."
