Part One of a small amount of shots from our night with the NKRC Trueno!
Nagano-Sama from workshop 'Nagano Koubou' invited Roughsmoke over to his stomping ground for a night on the prowl with a selection of custom rides from his shop and his customers. Here's part one of that night with a small selection of photos of the NKRC Sprinter Trueno.
From Nagano Koubou you may be familiar with the name of 'Rosebud', the team name for competition of which has been heavily linked to the shop. The leader of 'Rosebud' actually lives in the nearby prefecture of Nara but his given team name is more heavily linked with Nagano-Sama's Silvia (of which you'll see in part two) and many people think that is the name of just that sole car. But 'Rosebud' extends back over nearly twenty years and you'll see many of their cars in famous magazines such as Battle Magazine and the like. These days the team has only a few select members, and one of their friends from 'Rapid Roar' is the owner of this rather awesome Sprinter Trueno.
We arrived early evening to find the owner applying some final touches to the car with some nicely placed 'Nagano Koubou' stickers and he was also eager to add our new 2016 'Miki' sticker to the rear window also. The Trueno has the trademark 'Rosebud Style' bolt on overfenders giving a much more aggressive look, and also to enable the car to run a wider wheelbase to help with on the street/touge performance.
Some other nice touches such as the staggered styled wheels finish the job, but we'll stop with the words and let you click on each of the photos below to see the full size images and the ride in all it's glory!
